Covid-19 vaccine - Community engagement
Community engagement events are being co-produced in every borough, helping the many voices of our diverse population shape the way Covid vaccinations are offered. We are immensely grateful to the many volunteers, community leaders, and faith groups who have supported the vaccination programme.
Building trust through honest and open dialogue is helping us make rapid improvements in the way we respond to people’s concerns, adapt our vaccination programme, and bust myths and misinformation.
We see it as essential to provide residents and communities with specific and targeted information and awareness sessions, Q&A in community languages to improve vaccine uptake. The Community Engagement team are also working closely with Local Authority leads to support engagement and set up of pop-up clinics in community and faith settings.
Monthly How Do Our Communities Feel About COVID Vaccines https://www.nwlondonccgs.nhs.uk/coronavirus/vaccine-equity-work-us are produced to help inform the development of plans and improve vaccine uptake by all communities across NWL.
