Patients over the age of 55 can benefit of the AGE UK basic foot care service. 

Generally there is no need for a referral, except few exceptions.

Patients who are diabetic or are on blood thinners  need to book an appointment with theirr usual GP in order to be referred to the service.

There is a one off charge of £8 for the nail cutting kit and also each appointment cost £22 and is paid directly to the Age UK.

Patients need to be able to get to the service (St Charles Hospital or Stanhope Mews Surgery). Home visits are not available to book.
